Measure the transfer workload
List typical and unusually large uploads, how often they happen and when reception is busiest. For a rough minimum, a 1 GB decimal file contains about 8,000 megabits: divide that by sustained upload Mbps to estimate seconds. Real transfers take longer because of overhead, competing traffic and remote-server limits.
Separate urgent access from bulk transfers
Reception access and scheduled file transfers need different priorities. Coordinate upload scheduling with the system administrator and software supplier. A faster download plan does not establish the sustained upload speed, so ask for the relevant service specification and measure using authorised test files.
Keep access private
Use the approved application and encrypted access methods. Separate guest access from business devices and restrict administrative accounts. Do not test public file-sharing links with patient information. Remote access must follow the centre’s security procedures; a public IP does not replace authentication or access controls.
Define responsibility during a fault
Record contacts for connectivity, application hosting and on-site IT. Test whether essential reception tasks work on backup and what must be reconciled after recovery. Ask Fiber Link for address feasibility and suitable connectivity options, and confirm any special business commitments in writing.
Before you request a quotation
- Measure real upload sizes with authorised test data.
- Confirm sustained upload requirements separately from download.
- Separate guest Wi-Fi and business systems.
- Test reception recovery with the application supplier.
Common question
Does broadband include secure clinical hosting?
No. Connectivity, hosting, application access and data governance are separate services and responsibilities unless explicitly agreed.
Local availability and plan terms
For South Delhi, share the building or house, lane, floor, nearby landmark and map pin. Availability is checked for the premises; a service-area name or PIN code alone does not confirm a connection.
Published home plans are 100 Mbps at ₹499/month, 200 Mbps at ₹699/month, 300 Mbps at ₹799/month and 500 Mbps at ₹1,699/month. Confirm current pricing, taxes, billing period and complete first-payment total. Standard installation is advertised free; confirm included work. The dual-band Wi-Fi router is provided against refundable security: ask for the amount and return terms.
Business networking, public IP, IPv6, failover equipment, hosted services and ongoing management are not assumed to be included. Request a written quotation for the required scope. Check the local broadband page or compare current plans.
