Distinguish recording from live contribution
A local recording can continue without uploading continuously if the recording workflow supports it. Remote contributors, live streaming and cloud recording have their own requirements. Check the current guidance for the exact platform, resolution and recording mode instead of treating every session as the same workload.
Estimate the upload window
Use the actual deliverable size and measured sustained upload speed. A 5 GB decimal file contains roughly 40,000 megabits; at a sustained 20 Mbps the theoretical transfer time is about 33 minutes before overhead and interruptions. This is an illustrative calculation, not a Fiber Link speed promise.
Keep sessions predictable
Use Ethernet for the production computer where possible. Pause large sync jobs and test the intended platform with a remote guest before the scheduled session. Monitor both the local recording and remote contribution; a network issue should not silently become the only copy of a recording.
Test a recovery route
If a session needs backup, test what happens when the main line is unavailable. An address change can interrupt the live platform even when the router switches connections successfully. Confirm the studio’s building route, equipment and support scope with Fiber Link before planning a deadline around installation.
Before you request a quotation
- Check platform-specific live-session requirements.
- Measure upload speed and calculate delivery time.
- Use a wired production device where practical.
- Test backup and keep independent recordings when supported.
Common question
Does a 500 Mbps download plan guarantee instant uploads?
No. Upload speed, file size, competing traffic and the receiving service all affect completion time. Confirm the relevant specification.
Local availability and plan terms
For South Delhi, share the building or house, lane, floor, nearby landmark and map pin. Availability is checked for the premises; a service-area name or PIN code alone does not confirm a connection.
Published home plans are 100 Mbps at ₹499/month, 200 Mbps at ₹699/month, 300 Mbps at ₹799/month and 500 Mbps at ₹1,699/month. Confirm current pricing, taxes, billing period and complete first-payment total. Standard installation is advertised free; confirm included work. The dual-band Wi-Fi router is provided against refundable security: ask for the amount and return terms.
Business networking, public IP, IPv6, failover equipment, hosted services and ongoing management are not assumed to be included. Request a written quotation for the required scope. Check the local broadband page or compare current plans.
