Identify essential devices
List the booking computer, billing terminal, staff phones, music service and any cameras. Find out which services use the internet and which work locally. A busy waiting area may generate more guest traffic than the treatment rooms; plan for peak occupancy rather than the quiet morning.
Separate networks with the right equipment
A second network name alone does not prove business devices are isolated. Ask for a design that uses supported guest isolation, firewall rules or VLANs as appropriate. Keep router administration away from guest access and store credentials securely. Confirm who will maintain settings after installation.
Design access around the room
Place access points away from enclosed metal cabinets and test reception and far seating areas. Use wired links for fixed business devices where practical. Review the result during a normal busy period. If only one corner is weak, adding internet speed may not resolve the coverage problem.
Make the quote specific
Ask whether the price covers only broadband or also equipment, cabling and network configuration. Agree guest password changes and a fault-reporting contact. Confirm the applicable terms for visitor access. Fiber Link can review the requirements, but advanced guest-network features should be included in the accepted scope before they are relied on.
Before you request a quotation
- Prioritise reception and billing tasks.
- Verify isolation rather than relying on separate names.
- Test coverage at occupied seats.
- Confirm equipment, configuration and ongoing support costs.
Common question
Should customers share the staff Wi-Fi password?
A properly configured guest network is preferable when visitor access is offered. Keep business credentials separate and review access regularly.
Local availability and plan terms
For South Delhi, share the building or house, lane, floor, nearby landmark and map pin. Availability is checked for the premises; a service-area name or PIN code alone does not confirm a connection.
Published home plans are 100 Mbps at ₹499/month, 200 Mbps at ₹699/month, 300 Mbps at ₹799/month and 500 Mbps at ₹1,699/month. Confirm current pricing, taxes, billing period and complete first-payment total. Standard installation is advertised free; confirm included work. The dual-band Wi-Fi router is provided against refundable security: ask for the amount and return terms.
Business networking, public IP, IPv6, failover equipment, hosted services and ongoing management are not assumed to be included. Request a written quotation for the required scope. Check the local broadband page or compare current plans.
